💡 What Is Changing
Key Amendments to the Terms of Service
1. Clarification of the availability of the Financial Product Information and Connection Service — Article 12-2
The Terms will specify that we do not currently provide the “Financial Product Information and Connection Service (Optimization Requests and Partner Proposal Comparison),” which provides information on financial products registered by partner financial institutions and forwards members’ requests to those institutions. If we provide this service in the future after meeting the requirements under applicable laws and regulations, we will amend the Terms and provide advance notice.
2. Updated scope of AI services and data use — Article 16
The scope of AI services will be defined as “financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, and document drafting assistance.” The provision stating that member data is not used to train external AI models (AWS Bedrock) will remain in place. The Terms will specify that the scope of using pseudonymized or anonymized data with identifying information removed to improve the quality of the company’s internal forecasting models is governed by Article 9 of the Privacy Policy.
3. Clarification of joint certificate storage and destruction — Article 16-4
Joint certificate files and passwords are not stored on Fintag servers. They are encrypted and transmitted to and stored by our service provider, Hecto Data Co., Ltd. (CODEF), for financial information inquiries. Fintag retains only certificate management information, such as the certificate holder’s name, issuing authority, and expiration date, along with connection identifiers. When a connection is disconnected or a member closes their account, the certificates and connection information stored by the service provider are immediately destroyed.
Key Amendments to the Privacy Policy
1. Correction of the party storing joint certificates and passwords — Article 2
The party identified as storing joint certificate files and passwords in the collected data items will be corrected to Hecto Data Co., Ltd. (CODEF). This information is not stored on Fintag servers, and Fintag retains only certificate management information and connection identifiers.
2. Addition of outsourced processing for domestic messenger integrations — Article 6
An outsourced processing item will be added for delivering notifications, briefings, and AI responses to domestic messengers, such as JANDI and Kakao Work, that members have directly connected.
3. Addition of cross-border transfer items — Article 6-2
- Tavily (United States): Search queries with identifying information masked are transmitted when the web search feature in AI chat is used.
- Slack (United States) and Microsoft Teams (United States and other countries): Notifications and AI responses are transmitted to messengers connected by members.
- Google Analytics (United States): A cross-border transfer item related to website visit statistics will be added.
Each transfer occurs only when a member directly uses or configures the relevant feature. No transfer occurs if the relevant feature is not used.
4. Updated descriptions of AI and cloud processing — Articles 9 and 10
The wording describing the scope of AI processing in Article 9 will be updated. The description of cloud processing in Article 10 will be corrected to clarify that application, database, and AI processing takes place within a VPC in the AWS Seoul Region, and that external transfers through routes other than those specified in Articles 6 and 6-2 are blocked.
